Lineville Headlight
Last week marked the close of the life of one of the best citizens of this part 
of the county. Death came Hidden. It was his custom to read the paper after the 
noon hour and then take a mid-day rest and sleep on the veranda and while thus 
asleep, death came unnoticed by the members of the family. Mr. Bishop was 73 
years and was a member of the Baptist faith, a Mason and member of the Grotto, a 
benevolent insurance fraternity, He was laid to rest in the Lineville 'City of 
the Dead by the Masonic fraternity in the presence of one of the largest 
congregations attending. His two wives have already proceeded him, also two 
daughters, The ones surviving, Lee, J. W. and L. M. Bishop of Lineville, Mrs.
Lee McCain of Lineville and Mrs. John Thomas of Pisgah, Ala.
