Miss Mae Irene Beamer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Beamer, near New Chester, 
and Rufus R. Millhimes, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Millhimes, Gettysburg R. D. 
7, were married Saturday evening.  The Rev. J. Harold Little, pastor of the New 
Chester Lutheran charge, performed the ring ceremony at the home of the bride.  
A number of relatives and friends were present.  The attendants were Mr. and 
Mrs. Edwin Snyder.  Miss Marion Minter played The Spring Song and George 
Beamer, a brother of the bride, sand O Promise Me, preceding the ceremony.  
The Lohengrin wedding march was played as the couple entered the room.  The 
bride was attired in white and carried an arm bouquet of roses and white 
carnations.  Mrs. Snyder wore a grey crepe dress with a shouldette of pink roses 
and sweet peas.  A reception followed the ceremony.  The couple will reside in 
Gettysburg after May 1.
