Miss Barbara E. Bupp

Miss Barbara Ellen Bupp, 90, a former resident of Abbottstown, died Thursday at 
5:40 a.m. at the National Lutheran Home, Washington. She was a daughter of Jesse 
and Lavinia Craumer Bupp. Her only survivors are two neices.

Miss Bupp was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Abbottstown.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. at the Jackson and Womer Funeral 
Home, Carlisle, St. Hanover. The Rev. Lester J. Jarschner will officiate. Burial 
will be in St. John's Cemetery, Abbottstown. Friends may call at the funeral 
home this evening.

Miss B. Ellen Bupp Succumbs Thursday

Miss Barbara Ellen ("Ellie") Bupp, 90, a former resident of East Berlin and 
Abbottstown died Thursday at the National Lutheran home, Washington, D.C.,, 
where she had resided for several years. Miss Bupp was the last daughter of the 
late Jesse and Lavinia Craumer Bupp, East Berlin.

The deceased belonged to St. John's Lutheran Church, Abbottstown and its pastor, 
the Rev. Lester J. Karschner, officiating Saturday at the funeral rites at a 
Hanover funeral home, with interment in St. John's Cemetery, Abbottstown.
