Gettysburg Times, Gettysburg, Pennsylvania 1933 Jan 5 Thursday Evening
HUSBAND FINDS WIFE DEAD IN BED TODAY
Heart Attack Proves Fatal to Mrs. Sarah ALBIN While Sleeping.
Resides Here for 28 Years
A heart attack suffered in her sleep caused the death of Mrs. Ellen Sarah
ALBIN, aged about 74 years, wife of James R. ALBIN, 155 North Washington
Street, who found his wife dead when he awoke at 6:30 o'clock this morning.
Failing in an effort to arouse his wife, Mr. ALBIN called in a physician, who
pronounced the woman dead. Dr. Edgar A. Miller, Adams county coroner, said
death was caused by a coronary embolism.
Mrs. ALBIN retired in her usual health, Wednesday evening, and spoke to her
husband at 3 o'clock this morning. She had not been ill previously.
Mrs. ALBIN was born at Millersburg, a daughter of the late Joseph and Sarah
KRAMER, where she lived until 1904 when she and Mr. ALBIN moved to Gettysburg.
Surviving are her husband, one sister, Mrs. Mary Fernsier, and one half-
sister. Miss Annie KRAMER both of Millersburg.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements will be
announced later.
