Charlie Frank Freeman, 66, widely known Troup County farmer, died Monday at his 
home in Wehadkee, following an illness of 13 months. Services, depending on the 
arrival of relatives, will be conducted from the Harmony church near Abbotsford, 
with the Rev. W. C. Hanson and the Rev. G. A. Lively officiating. Born in Troup 
County, Mr. Freeman had lived his entire life in the Abbotsford and Wehadkee 
communities. His membership was in the Harmony Methodist church. He is survived 
by his wife, Mrs. Ada Prince Freeman; nine daughters, Mrs. Leonard Whitley, 
Glenn, Mrs. Guilford Newell, Hogansville; Mrs. Geo. Jacobs, West Point; Mrs. 
Tommie Lane, Glenn; Mrs. Luther Faulkner, Barnesville; Mrs. Stewart Hodgins, 
Vermont; Mrs. Ely Hanson, LaGrange; Mrs. Bradley Hudson, Abbotsford; Mrs. Carlos 
Jackson, LaGrange; three sons, Paul Freeman, Gloucester, Horace Freeman, West 
Point; Lavelle Freeman, LaGrange. Johnson and Blakely are in charge of 
arrangements.
