Profound regret followed quickly the shock caused innumerable friends by the 
news Tuesday that Lester C. Dickinson, an old and popular engineer on the 
A.B. & A. Railroad, had succumbed shortly after twelve o'clock Monday night 
to scalds received when his locomotive, No. 207, collided with the rear end 
of a runaway section of train No. 212 on the A.B. & A. near Talbotton
