James Robert Brown

  James Robert Brown, age 78,
Franklin Rt. 5, passed away in a 
Franklin hospital Monday afternoon,
May 27, at three-thirty.
  Mr. Brown is survived by his wife;
three sons, Otis and T.V. Brown
of LaGrange, and Grover Brown of
Shreveport, La.; five daughters, 
Mrs. Ollie Walker, Mrs. Alma 
Wilkerson, and Mrs. Ethel Anglin,
all of Roanoke Rt. 5, Mrs. Motis
Wilkerson of Riverview, and Mrs.
Janet Moore of Hampton, Va.; 26
grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren;
three brothers, Lon and John Brown 
of Franklin Rt. 5 and Lee Brown of Roanoke.
  Funeral services for Mr. Brown
were conducted Wednesday afternoon,
May 29, at two o'clock from the
Beulah Church, with the Rev.
Lovic Hunter and the Rev. Roy
Parmer officiating. Internment
was in the church cemetery, 
Quattlebaum's directing.

James "Jim" Robert Brown's wife was Nancy Elizabeth Prestridge Brown.

James Brown's three sons are Otis Austin Brown, T.V. (Thomas Valentine) Brown, 
and Grover Lee Brown

James Brown's five daughters are Ollie Bell Brown Walker, Alma Brown 
Wilkerson, Eathel Myrtice Brown Angllin, Motis E. Brown Wilkerson and Janett 
Brown Moore.

James Brown's brothers are Alonzo "Lon" Jackson Brown, John Henry Brown and 
William Lee Brown.
