"The Roanoke Leader" -- Roanoke, Randolph Co., Ala.

NEWSPAPER issue of Wednesday, March 8, 1922

MR. ROBT. W. BASS DIED IN WEST POINT ON MONDAY

Mr. Robert W. Bass died very suddenly at his home in West Point, Ga., about
nine o'clock Monday morning. He had been confined to his home much of the
time for several weeks past under treatment for heart trouble, but was
feeling better just a few minutes before he died. Funeral and interment are
this afternoon, Wednesday.

Mr. Bass was reared in Randolph county where he had many friends and
relatives. He was formerly engaged in business in Wedowee, moving to West
Point a year and a half ago. He was a good citizen and an active member of
the M.E. Church. He leaves a wife, and three children, Mrs. Burns Parker,
Dallis and Mary Bass. Many friends sympathize with the family in their great
loss.
