  MYRTLE A ADAMS
  
  Myrtle A. Adams, 86, of Boswell RD 2, died Thursday, Dec. 22, 1983, at
  Maple Mountain Manor in Berlin.  She was born Nov. 12, 1897, in Somerset
  County, daughter of Edward and Susan (Glessner) Coughenour.  She was
  preceded in death by parents; husband, George G., who died May 20, 1966;
  son, Paul, killed in action during World War II; several brothers and
  sisters.  She is survived by these children; Leona, wife of Dean Friedline;
  Betty (Jane) wife of John Barnick, both of Boswell RD 2; Mae Kimmel,
  Jennerstown; Evelyn, wife of Jack Miller, Stoystown RD; Ralph, married to
  the former Louis Knavel, Ebensbug RD; and Janet, wife of Pete Piposo,
  Johnstown RD 4; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great
  grandchildren.  She was a sister of Romaine Keller; Cairnbrook; Jean of Ohio;
  Mae Burkett, Cumberland, Md.; Walter, Baltimore, Md.; Pearl Engleka and Ira,
  both of Fairhope RD 1.  She was a member of Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church,
  Jennerstown.  Friends were recieved at the Hoffman Funeral Home, 227
  Allegheny Street, Boswell, where services were held with the Rev. Jesse E.
  Wolf officiating.  Interment, Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, West End, Bedford
  County.
