MINER DIED VIOLENT DEATH
Jerome Resident Shot by Fellow Work Man, After Attending a Wedding

Kayet Adams, a miner of Jerome died Monday morning at the Johnstown Memorial 
Hospital from a wound in the abdomen inflicted by Leo MoLavish, another miner. 
After a hearing before Squire Kuhlman, of Jerome, MacTavish was formally charged 
with the murder. While returning from a wedding Saturday night the two men got 
into an argument which resulted in the murder. Kayet Adams was about 30 years 
old and unmarried. McTavish is about 35 years old and has a wife and children in 
Jerome.

[NOTE: three different spellings of the same name.]
