  BRUCE ACKERMAN
  
  Bruce Bittner Ackerman, 55, of Meyersdale RD 2, died May 9, 1972 in
  Meyersdale Community Hospital.  Born in Meyersdale July 20, 1916, he was a
  son of the late John and Ellen (Bittner) Ackerman.  His wife, the former
  Rose Bauman, died in March 1971.  Surviving are a son, Robert M., Meyersdale
  RD 2; a daughter, Mrs. Elsie Leydig, Berlin RD; five grandchildren and a
  sister, Mrs. Leora Ross, Meyersdale.  Friends are being received at Konhaus
  Funeral Home, Meyersdale, where funeral service will be held at 1:30
  o'clock Friday afternoon, with Rev. Terry Foor officiating.  Interment in
  Fritz Church Cemetery.
