RACHAEL E. ABERLE

  Mrs. Rachael Ellen Aberle, wife of William H. Aberle died at her home in 
Hyndman, on Friday afternoon, Jan. 2, of a complication of diseases with which 
she was afflicted for several months.
  Mrs. Aberle was the youngest daughter of George and Matilda Bennet and was 
born near the Bethel Church in Cumberland Valley, Feb. 5, 1861, and was aged 69 
years, 10 months and 27 days.  She is the last surviving member of a family of 
seven brothers and sisters all having preceded her in death.
  She is survived by her husband, and the following children: Mrs. Z. A. Green, 
Mrs. Mahlon Evans, Mrs. Minnie Pensyl, Mrs. J. E. Corley and Burton Aberle, of 
Hyndman; Mrs. C. R. Tayman of Rockwood, and Milton Aberle of Uniontown.
  Funeral services were conducted at her late home in Hyndman last Sunday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock, by Rev. William H. Landis, pastor of the First Reformed 
Church of that place.  The funeral was largely attended.  Interment was made in 
the Hyndman Cemetery, with Funeral Director Charles A. Sides in charge of the 
burial arrangements.
