  Mary Ann Abare, 87, Silver Springs, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died Feb. 1,
  2005 at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park, Md. Born July 25, 1917 in
  Meyersdale a daughter of the late Clay and Josephine (Bolinger) Sperry. Also
  preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Porter; and four brothers: Charles J.
  Sperry, George J. Sperry, James D. Sperry, and Robert "Pecks" Sperry. Survived
  by her husband John Ray Abare; niece, Carol J., wife of Don Hoover; special
  nephew, Charles Sperry; sister-in-law, Agnes, wife of Joe Gatta; and
  brother-in-law, Joe Abare and his wife Carol. Also numerous nieces and nephews.
  Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral
  Home Meyersdale, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the
  Rev. Robert Robertson officiating. Interment Union Cemetery Meyersdale.

    Mary Ann Abare, 87, of Silver Spring, Md., formerly of Meyersdale, died
  Tuesday, February 1, 2005, at Washington Adventist Hospital, Takoma Park, Md.
    Born July 25, 1917, in Meyersdale, she was a daughter of the late Clay and
  Josephine (Bolinger) Sperry. 
    She was also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Porter; and four
  brothers: Charles J. Sperry, George J. Sperry, James D. Sperry, and Robert
  "Pecks" Sperry.
    She is survived by  her husband, John Ray Abare; niece, Carol J., wife of Don
  Hoover; special nephew, Charles Sperry; sister-in-law, Agnes, wife of Joe Gatta;
  and brother-in-law, Joe Abare and his wife, Carol; also numerous nieces and
  nephews.
    Friends were received 2-4 and 7-9 Friday at the Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, where service was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, with Rev. Robert
  Robertson officiating. Interment, Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
