Born July 25, 1917 in Meyersdale a daughter of the late Clay and Josephine (Bolinger) Sperry. Also preceded in death by a sister, Elizabeth Porter; and four brothers: Charles J. Sperry, George J. Sperry, James D. Sperry, and Robert "Pecks" Sperry. Survived by her husband John Ray Abare; niece, Carol J., wife of Don Hoover; special nephew, Charles Sperry; sister-in-law, Agnes, wife of Joe Gatta; and brother-in-law, Joe Abare and his wife Carol. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Price Funeral Home Meyersdale, where a service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev.
