Deaths
  Mrs. Amanda Susan Snyder, aged 83 years, of Clearspring, widow of George Snyder,
died early today at the home of her son David Snyder, 92 Park avenue, this city.
  She was a member of the Episcopal Church at Indian Spring.
  Surviving are the following: sons, David, this city; Benjamin, Martinsburg;
Earl, Clearspring; daughters, Mrs. Arthur Kesselring, Mrs. Fred Weaver, Clearspring;
Mrs. R. V. Brindendolph, Mercersburg; Mrs. Albert Hockenberry, Martinsburg; Mrs.
Charles Greathouse, Detroit, Michigan; Mrs. Russell Young, Hagerstown. One sister, 
Mrs. William Yost, Clearspring, and a half-brother, William Snyder, Clearspring,
also survive.
  The body was removed to the Kraiss mortuary where private funeral services will
be held on Sunday at 2 o'clock by Rev. Luther L. Hare; interment in Blair's Valley
cemetery.


Additional Comments:
Amanda Susan Davis Snyder is the daughter of Harry Davis and Mary Magdalene McCarthy 
Davis Snyder.  Amanda has a twin sister Mary Ann Davis Mills.  Amanda was born May 
1862 died 21 Jan 1944.  Amanda and Mary were the step sisters to Hattie Magdalene 
Snyder Yost.
