Wert, Ohio) and William, (Clear Spring). Burial at St. Paul's Church Cemetery.

John D. McCarthy, aged 84 years and a native of Clear Springs, Maryland, died 
yesterday.  He had resided in Van Wert the past 42 years. (Parents were John and 
Elizabeth Miller McCarthy). Survived by three daughters, Mrs. Clapp and Mrs. 
Annie Mosier, of Van Wert, and Mrs. Mona Falcom, of Pontiac, Michigan; four 
sons, Clarence McCarthy of Van Wert, John McCarthy, of Clayton, Michigan and 
Harry and Lawrence McCarthy of Pontiac, Michigan, and one sister who resides at 
Clear Springs, Maryland. Buried in Woodland cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Ann McCarthy, 81, wife of Daniel McCarthy, died Thursday afternoon. 
(Her parents were Samuel and Barbara Miller Weller). She was born in Millstone 
Point, Md. Burial will be made in Woodland cemetery. She was survived by three 
daughters, Mrs. Clapp, Mrs. Anna Mosure, of Fort Wayne, and Mrs. Mona Flacon, of 
Pontiac, Mich.; four sons, Clarence of this city, John of Clayton, Mich., and 
Lawrence and Harry McCarthy, of Pontiac, Mich.; three sisters, Mrs. Frances 
Yonkers, Mrs. Bella Lucas and Mrs. Harriet Myers, all of Maryland.
