Obitutary:
Allen Camel Kees
Williamsport MD.
Allen Camel Kees, 85, Rt. 3, died Sunday at the Veterans Adminstration Center in 
Martinsburg, West Virginia.
Born in Shangi Hi, West Virginia, he was the son of the late James H. Kees and 
Sarah Ann Kendrick Kees. He was married to the late Mary O. Kees. He was a 
member of the Pinesburg Mennonite Church, a veteran of WWI and a member of Reno 
Barracks No.152 of the Veterans of WWI and Morris Frock Post No.42 American 
Legion.
He is survived by one daughter, Miss Elizabeth O. Kees of Hagerstown, two sons, 
Alvin L. Kees of Williamsport and Thorl L. Kees of Halfway: 10 Grandchildren and 
8 Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 2pm at the Pinesburg Mennonite Church, the Rev. 
Merle Petre will officiate.
Burial will be at St. Paul's Cemetery in Clear Springs.
The Family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home in Williamsport this 
evening from 7 to 9. Memorials may be made to the Pinesburg Mennonite Church.

Mrs. Mary O. Kees
Big Springs, MD.
Mary Orinda Kees 75, Rt. 1, died Saturday at her home. Born in Pineburg, she was 
the daughter of the late George Blucker Potts and Elizabeth Reigal Harsh Potts. 
She was a member of the Christ Luthern Church in Hagerstown, the Quarter Century 
Club of the Hagerstown Shoe Company where she had been employed, the Reno 
Barracks of the WWI American Legion Auxiliary and the Purple Heart Club 
Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Kees, one daughter, Miss Elizabeth Kees of 
Hagerstown, two sons, Alvin Kees of Williamsport and Thorl Kees of Halfway. 11 
Grandchildren and six Great Grandchildren.
Services will be held Wednesday at 2pm. at the Osborne Funeral Home in 
Williamsport. The Rev. Thomas Lee Perry will officiate.
Burial will be in St. Paul's Cemetery on the Western Pines. The family will 
receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7 to 8.

Sarah Ann Kees, Pinesburg, died at her home on Friday night of complications, 
age 62 years. She is survived by two son's, William Kees, Martinsburg, West 
Virginia, and Allen Kees, Pinesburg; three daughters, Mrs Frank McCleary, this 
city, Mrs Henry Cameron, Williamsport, Mrs. Elmer Grove, Pittsburg PA., one 
brother Robert Kendrick and one sister Mrs. Rafe Fry, both of Martinsburg and 
eighteen grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held from the Methodist Episcopal Church Monday 
afternoon at 2 o'clock with the Rev. Wheeler officiating. Interment at St. 
Paul's Cemetery. The body can be viewed tomorrow and Monday at the funeral home 
of Abert Leaf, Williamsport.
