The Daily Mail, Hagerstown, MD Thursday, March 6, 1952
Benjamin Franklin Eakle died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Marshal Gallion
near Hagerstown on Wednesday at 8:45 a.m. of complications after a lengthy
illness aged 76 years.
	He was a member of the Mt. Carmel EUB Church. He was a retired farmer and had
resided in the Broadfording section for the past 40 years.
	He is survived by his wide, Mrs. Fannie Haller Eakle, a daughter and son,
Robert E. Eakle, nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
	The Body may be viewed at the Bast Funeral Home until noon on Friday after
which it will be taken to the home of the daughter. A brief service will be held
Saturday at the home of Mrs. Gallion before the body is taken to the
Broadfording Church of the Brethren for services at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. John
Myers will officiate. Internment in the Broadfording cemetery.
