Maddox, Sarah

Sarah Opal Maddox, 62, of Webbville, died Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Maddox was born September 19, 1929, at Bells Trace, a daughter of
the late Wesley and Della Triplett Caldwell. She was preceded in death
by two husbands: Edgar Pennington in 1970 and Londa Maddox in 1989.

Surviving are a daughter, Debbie Gollihue of Grayson; three sons: Wesley
Pennington of Milford, Ohio, and Edgar Pennington and Mark Pennington
both of Webbville, Kentucky; six sisters: Gladys Blevins of West
Jefferson, Beatrice Wells of Louisa, Juanita Fields of Seffner, Florida,
Jewell Stover of Homosasses, Florida, Patty Sue Mackley of Delaware,
Ohio, and Mable Caldwell and two brothers, Fred Caldwell of Logan, West
Virginia and Clifford Caldwell of Lodi, Ohio; three stepsons, Eddie
Maddox of Webbville, Donald Maddox of Columbus, Ohio and Charles Maddox
of Rush, Kentucky and nine grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted a 1 p.m. Wednesday at Malone Funeral Home
in Grayson by Jesse Fyffe, minister. Burial will be in the Triplett
Caldwell Cemetery in Bells Trace.

Friends may call after 6 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Wednesday at the
funeral home.
