 Ellis A. Jackson II, 41, of 5707 Jeanine Drive, died Monday at Humana
Hospital-Audubon.
He was an employee of Ford Motor Co.'s Kentucky Truck Plant and a member of
Thoroughbred Elks Lodge.
Survivors: his wife, Patricia P. Jackson; two sons, Nelson and Courtney
Jackson; a stepdaughter, Arnetia Brasher; a stepson, Curtis Pearson of
Chicago; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ellis A. Jackson Sr.; a sister, Julie A.
Jackson of Washington, D. C.; two brothers, Don A. Jackson of Owensboro and
Mark R. Jackson; and three grandchildren.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, Harrods Creek Baptist Church, 7610 Upper River
Road. Burial: Green Meadows Memorial Cemetery. Visitation: A. D. Porter &
Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St., 1-5 p.m. Friday, and the church,
6-9 p.m. Friday.
George L. Jackson, of 2010 Beech St., died there Monday.
He was a native of Alexandria, Va., a retired Army master sergeant, a
veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of Retired Servicemen's Club.
Survivors: his wife, Bettie J. Jackson; two daughters, Denise Winslow of
Hyattsville, Md., and Pamela Jackson; three sons, George L. Jr. and Thomas
Jackson, both of Alexandria, and Andrew W. Jackson; a sister, Lettie Mae
Bryant of Alexandria; a brother, Russell Jackson of Dayton, Ohio; and eight
grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Friday, Community Missionary Baptist Church, 4909 E. Indian
Trail. Burial: Highland Memory Gardens, Mount Washington. Visitation: the
church, noon-9 p.m. Thursday. W. T. Shumake & Daughters is handling
arrangements.
