The Cherokee Advance 5 May 1880 p 2
Resolutions in Memory of Phillip Graham

Whereas, an afflicted dispensation of Divine Providence has removed from our
midst our beloved brother, Phillip Graham. Therefore,
Be it Resolved, By Hickory Flat Lodge No. 205, F. and A.M., that we
recognize the sound of the gavel by our Great Grand Master, calling our
brother from __be to refreshment, and rejoice in the hope that he is
regarded with habiliments of Glory, Honor and Immortality.
2. That we extend to his afflicted family the condolence and sympathy of our
order.
3. That we wear the usual badge of mourning and drape the Jewels of our
Lodge for thirty days.
4. That a page of our records be reserved in memory of brother Graham, and
for these resolutions.
5. That we furnish the bereaved family a copy of these resolutions and
forward a copy to the Cherokee Advance for publication.
