The Marietta Journal & Courier April 18, 1913
Mrs Nathan A FOWLER died at her home in Woodstock Friday night at seven o'clock
after an illness of several weeks. Her death has cast a gloom over the entire
community and she will be greatly missed, as few women were as useful in all
walks of life.

Her pastor said he did not remember a time when she was absent from her church.

She was a devoted wife and mother, a consistent and useful christian true and
loyal to every cause to uplift humanity. She was one of the most prominent
women in the county, ever ready to help the poor and many deeds of charity has
she done when no one knew save those in need.

Prior to her marriage she was Miss Lou GRESHAM and she leaves a large circle of
relatives of McCORDs, GRESHAMs, LEGGs, and many friends who mourn for her.

She is survived by her husband and four children: Thomas FOWLER of Kennesaw, Mrs
J H COGBURN of Gainsville, Mrs W P SEWEL of Woodstock and J E FOWLER, Atlanta.
