Married
In the Treasure's office in the Court House on last Tuesday night at 8:12
o'clock, Mr. James Grubbs and Henrietta BeBee, both colored.  Mr. Frank Putnam
colored acted as Usher.  The contracting parties were attended by "Etowah Corner
Band," (white).  The Editor of the Cherokee Advance performed the cerimony (sic)
that made them husband and wife.  When the "Amen" was pronounced the Band struck
a lively air and the bridesgroom (sic) and his bride marched to their future
home.  After the couple had gone to their room, the band aforsaid (sic)
discoursed sweet music in the way of a complimentary serenade.  Mr. Grubbs is
our efficient barber, with a bright future. . .
