CRUM, Nancy Elizabeth (Atkins)

1877-1958

Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Crum, 83, of Glen Hayes, WV, died at 11:30 a.m. Monday in a 
Louisa, KY hospital following an illness of three months. Funeral services were 
conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Glen Hayes Free Will Baptist Church by the 
Rev. J. C. Hager. Burial was in the Wellman Cemetery at Salt Petre. Mrs. Crum, 
widow of L. B. Crum, was born on July 1, 1877, daughter of the late James D. and 
Sarah Ann York Atkins. Before his death in 1939, she and her husband, owned and 
operated the Glen Hayes Mereantile Co. Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Emma 
Vinson of Louisa, route 2, one brother, Thomas D. Atkins of Huntington and three 
grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral arrangements were under the
