BERRY, Reuben A.

1887-1957

Reuben A. Berry, 70, of Adams, KY, died Thursday at 5 a.m. at his home after a 
long illness. Mr. Berry was a retired carpenter. He had been a resident of 
Columbus, OH, until his retirement six years ago when he moved to Adams. He was 
a veteran of World War I. He was born April 7, 1887, at Cordell, KY, a son of 
the late David M. and Nancy Short Berry. Funeral services were conducted Sunday 
at 10:30 a.m. at the Cando Church at Adams, with the Rev. William W. Moore 
officiating. Burial was made in the Moore Cemetery at Adams. Survivors include 
the widow, Mrs. Dixie Moore Berry; one son, Allen George Berry, at home; two 
sisters, Mrs. Charlie Moore of Adams, and Mrs. Ted Wooten of Columbus; and six 
brothers, Parl, David, Charlie, Edgar, Hansel and Hezekiah Berry, all of 
Columbus. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Young Funeral
