BERRY, Martha Elizabeth

Martha Elizabeth Berry, 65, died Thursday of last week at the home of a nephew, 
Westie Spillman of the Two Mile section. She had been a semi-invalid for many 
years and died suddenly while seated in a chair shortly after eating breakfast. 
Deceased was a daughter of the late John and Mary Wright Berry. Funeral was 
conducted Friday afternoon at the William Berry cemetery on Twin Branch where 
interment was made. Rev. W. O. Spillman officiated at the rites. She had long been 
a member of the Baptist Church. Surviving besides the nephew is a sister, Mrs. Nan 
Spillman of Louisa, route 3. Big Sandy News, Mar 27, 1942
