BELCHER, Rosie (Lambert)

1878-1962

Mrs. Rosie Belcher, 83 years old, of Prichard, Route 1, died in a Huntington 
hospital Monday after a 12 day illness. Funeral services were conducted at 2 
p.m. Thursday at the Buchanan, KY Chapel with the Rev. Herbert Smith and the 
Rev. Frank Wallace officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Mrs. Belcher 
was born at Buchanan, October 18, 1878, a daughter of the late William and Julia 
French Lambert. Her husband, Thomas, died in 1930. Survivors include a son, 
George Belcher of Prichard, route 1 ;a sister, Mrs. Allen Perry of New Boston, 
OH; two brothers, Henry Lambert of Buchanan and French Lambert of New Boston and 
one grandchild and three great grandchildren. The body was taken from the Young 
funeral Home to the son's residence at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Big Sandy News, May 3,
