ADAMS, Ira

1890-1954

Ira Adams, 64, of Dennis, KY, died Sunday night in a Louisa hospital after a 
long illness. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Midway 
Methodist Church on Twin Branch, Louisa, route 3, by the Rev. Fred Vanhorn. 
Burial was made in the family cemetery there. Mr. Adams was born April 2, 1890, 
at Louisa, a son of the late Covey and Della Large Adams. He was a veteran of 
World War I. Survivors include one son, Logan Adams of Akron, OH; three sisters, 
Mrs. Jim Kiser of Fallsburg, KY, Mrs. Riley Burchett of Akron, and Mrs. Joe 
McKinster and two brothers, Eskel Adams of Louisa, and Kay Adams, with whom he 
made his home. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Young Funeral
