WEDOWEE MINISTER MARRIED
----------------------------
Last Friday [30 Mar 1917] evening at the home of the bride's parents in Lanett [Chambers
co., AL] Rev. J. F. DUNN, pastor of the Wedowee Circuit, Methodist church, was
married to Miss Onie BRUCE. Rev. W. E. FAUST was the officiating minister. Rev. R. E.
TYLER accompanied Mr. FAUST to Lanett and return. The newly married couple went
to Hogansville [Troup co., GA] to visit relatives for a short time. The bride is a teacher in
the public schools of Lanett and will finish her term before going to Wedowee to make her
home. She is an excellent young lady, while the groom is one of the most successful young
ministers in the North Alabama Conference.
