ROCK MILLS
----------------------------

June 29.-- Will HENDON was married to Miss Josie BOYD last Sunday [a?] week [21
Jun 1903?]. Rev O H MOORE performed the ceremony.

[From The Roanoke Leader (Randolph County, Alabama), 1 Jul 1903, p.2]

-------

This marriage is not recorded in the 1900-1905 Randolph County Marriage Book,
suggesting that the ceremony possibly occurred in Chambers Co., Alabama, or Heard or
Troup Cos., Georgia.

There is a J. W. HENDON as well as a W. D. HENDON listed in the 1919 Randolph
County List of Qualified Voters; perhaps one is Will HENDON.
