Kitchen Shower for Bride-elect.
----------------------------
An interesting social event of the holiday season was a Kitchen Shower given the evening
of the 24th at the home of Mrs. Wyatt WOOD in honor of Miss Annie Laurie BEVIS, who, on the
29th [December 1914], became the bride of Mr. A. J. AWBREY. The occasion was given by the
B. I. C. Club, an organization of young ladies, and was greatly enjoyed by a large company.
The many useful presents were displayed on a Christmas tree.
