Tom Luther Adcock, 80, of Roanoke, Rt. 3, died Monday at 7 a.m., at his home. 
Funeral services will be held today at 3 p.m., at Rock Stand Congregational 
Christian Church near Roanoke with the Revs. Wallace Roberts, Olin Shepherd and 
L. A. Gore officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Quattlebaum's 
Brown Service Funeral Home in charge.  He is survived by the widow Mrs. Lura 
Clark Adcock; five sons, Jasper, Curtis and Carlos of Roanoke, Clarence of 
Thomaston Ga., and Durward of Oxford; four daughters, Mrs. Leona Windsor of 
Bowden, Ga, and Mrs. Velma Beverly. Mrs. Ora Treadwell and Miss Lillian Adcock, 
all of Roanoke, Rt. 3; three brothers, Charlie of Jacksonville, Fla., W. C., of 
Roanoke and Ira of West Point, Ga.; one sister, Mrs. Elma Mashburn of Roanoke, 
and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Emory 
Clark, Ocie Mashburn, James Adcock, Tom Allen, Barney Adcock and Robert Adcock. 
Mr. Adcock. a lifelong resident of Randolph County, was a retired farmer and a 
member of the Christian Church.
