Burial took place in Akron. Born January 17, 1914, he was the son of Mrs. Ora Mae (Humphrey) Bissett and the late William J. Bissett. He was a graduate of Thomas High school and was employed by the Davis Coal and Coke Company and was a chemist in the lab. He also worked as a chemist at Westvaco's Luke Mill prior to moving to Akron where he was manager of the J. C. Penney store in Chapel Hill Mall. He was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church, and fourth-degree member of the Knights of Columbus, Akron. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his widow, Mrs. Helen (Farrell) Bissett; a brother, Joseph W.
