"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Thursday 1 Apr 1948: 
"Midland-Mary Catherine Beeman, seven-year-old daughter of James A. and Kathleen 
(Woods) Beeman, O'Mara Avenue, died yesterday in Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, 
where she was taken Saturday. She had been ill since last September. A native of 
Gilmore, the child is also survived by a brother, Roy Beeman, at home, and a 
grandfather, Bernard Woods, Cumberland."
