The Rev. Linus E. Robinson, pastor, was celebrant. Interment was in St. Gabriel's Cemetery, Barton. Pallbearers were Samuel Bean, Jr., John Bean, Donald Bean, Charles Fram, Jim O'Rourke and Bill Jones. Mr. Bean, son of the late John and Sarah (Barnhill) Bean, was born in Beryl but resided most of his life in Barton. He was a retired coal miner and held membership in St. Gabriel's Catholic church. In recent years Mr. Bean had resided in Fairmont where his body was discovered on the property of the Eastern Gas and Fuel company. Authorities said death was due to exposure. Survivors include a sister, Miss Margaret Bean, Royal Oak, Mich., and two brothers, Thomas Bean, Royal Oak, and Frank Bean, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla."
