LUKE - Mrs. Bertha Ann Bean, 79, died last night in Potomac Valley Hospital, 
Keyser, where she had been a patient a month.
   Born at Delray, W. Va., a daughter of the late Phillip and Mary (Davis) 
Houdyshell, she had resided in Keyser prior to coming here to live with a 
daughter, Mrs. Kermit Wildman, about seven months ago.  Her husband, Amos 
Bean, preceded her in death.  Mrs. Bean was a member of Cross Methodist Church.
   Surviving, besides Mrs. Wildman, are three sons, Arthur and Floyd Bean, 
both of Keyser, and Lloyd Bean , Cowen, W. Va.;  five other daughters, Mrs. 
Ora Paugh and Mrs. Paul Randells, both of Piedmont;  Mrs. Jacob Howard, Beryl, 
and Mrs. Richard Mcllwee and Mrs. James Wilt, both of Keyser;  four brothers, 
Charles and John Houdyshell, both of Cumberland;  Thurman Houdyshell, Keyser, 
and Albert Houdyshell, Keyes, Okla.;  two sisters, Mrs. Flora Keister, Hanging 
Rock, W. Va., and Mrs. Price Oakes, Delray, 34 grandchildren and 20 great-
grandchildren.
   The body is at the Wildman residence where services will be conducted 
Wednesday at 3 p.m. by Rev. Edwin Smith, pastor of Bloominton Methodist 
Church, and Rev. Rex Coffman, pastor of Peidmont Penticostal Holiness Church.  
Interment will be in Queens Point Cemetery, Keyser.
