Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Thu 18 Aug 1938: 
"Frederick Leo Tighe, of Wadsworth, Ohio, and Miss Norma 
Ann Bassett, of Valley City, Ohio, were married Saturday, 
in St. Michael's Catholic Church, Frostburg, by the 
assistant pastor, Rev. Dominic A. Bonomo. The attendants 
were Patrick G. Tighe, brother of the bride-groom, and 
Miss Helen Tighe, his cousin. Breakfast was served the 
wedding party at the home of Mr. Tighe's cousins. Mr. 
and Mrs. William Allen. Jr. Mr. Tighe is a former 
resident of Frostburg."
