GOBRECHT - LAUGHLIN

  On Wednesday evening at 8 o'clock Rev. L. J. Davidson, pastor of the United 
Presbyterian church, Mount Washington, Pittsburg, officiated at the wedding 
of Miss Ruth Romaine Laughlin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. G. Laughlin, of 
148 Bertha street, Mount Washington, and Mr. John C. Gobrecht, son of Mr. and 
Mrs. N. A. Gobrecht, of No. 309 East Grant avenue, Altoona.
  The wedding took place at No. 171 Ulysses street, Mount Washington, the 
couple's future home, which was furnished prior to the wedding. 
  The bride was attired in white georgette crepe and wore a corsage of yellow 
tea roses, and her attendant Miss Frances D. Helm, of Coraopolis, wore a gown 
of pink voile and a corsage of pink roses.
  The groom was attended by Mr. Chas. E. Haag, of McKees Rocks.  Luncheon 
followed the ceremony.  Wedding guests in attendance were: Mr. and Mrs. T. G. 
Laughlin and daughter Waneata, of Pittsburg, Mr. and Mrs. N. A. Gobrecht and 
Mrs. E. W. Cavender, of Altoona, Miss Florence D. Helm, Mrs. F. C. Albrecht 
and Mr. Norval Nelson of Coraopolis, Miss Mary Torrens, of Montour, Chas E. 
Haag of McKees Rocks, Miss Ruby Ricketts, Miss Dorothy W. Gobrecht, Mr. Paul 
Riehl, Mr. John G. Krieger and Rev. L. J. Davidson of Pittsburg.
  The couple will be at home to their many friends after August 21.  On 
September 7 will leave on an extended trip to Altoona, Harrisburg, New York, 
Buffalo, Montreal, Canada and Cleveland, returning to Pittsburg about 
September 21.  They will be accompanied by Miss Dorothy W. Gobrecht, daughter 
of the groom.
