CASSIDY - BAUMGARTNER.

David Vincent Cassidy, son of Mr. and Mrs. James A. Cassidy of 2129
Eighteenth street, and Miss Louise Baumgartner, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Charles Baumgartner of Northside, Pittsburgh, were married at 9
o'clock Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, Northside,
Pittsburgh, by the rector, Rev. Father Magnus. They were attended by
Mr. Ed. W. Resig of Altoona and Mr. Emil Kress of Pittsburgh and Misses
Alma and Margaret Baumgartner of Pittsburgh, sisters of the bride. A
reception followed at the bride's home and the gifts were both numerous
and beautiful. Among the attendants were the bridegroom's father and
his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Cassidy of Altoona.
Mr. Cassidy, who has been employed as a machinist in the Twelfth street
shops, has been inducted into the engineer corps of the army and will
leave, for a yet unassigned post, on Wednesday of next week. His bride
was formerly a stenographer in the employ of the Fort Pitt
Lithographing company of Pittsburgh and, after their return from an
eastern wedding trip, she will live in Pittsburgh until the close of
the war.
