  ASHENFELTER - MOORE

At an informal ceremony Saturday afternoon at 4 o'clock in the First
Presbyterian church at Hollidaysburg, Shirley Lee Moore, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Perry Bernard Moore of Pittsburgh, became the bride of Richard Lloyd
Ashenfelter of Springfield, Ill. Preceding the ceremony Anne Elliott sang "One
Alone" and "Because." Miss Charlotte Kunzig presided at the organ. Rev. T. Stacy
Capers, pastor of the church, officiated. The bride, given in marriage by her
father, wore a white afternoon gown with a green and white flowered hat, and
carried an arm bouquet of mixed summer flowers. Mr. and Mrs. William Bingham of
State College were the only attendants. Mrs. Bingham, who is the former Sally
Moore, sister of the bride, was dressed in yellow and carried an arm bouquet of
mixed flowers. A reception followed the ceremony at the Eldon Inn in Roaring
Spring. The bridal couple left for a wedding trip to Wisconsin Dells, Wis. After
July 27, they will be at home in Springfield, Ill. Mr. and Mrs. Moore formerly
lived in Hollidaysburg while the bride's maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. A.
Besierck, were lifelong residents of the county seat.
