Taken from McDonald Pa Outlook 20 Oct 1921

Mrs. Elizabeth BERGER died Friday morning at 10 o'clock in the
home of her daughter Mrs. J. E. COULTER of Oakdale. Mrs. BERGER was
stricken with a stroke Thursday evening and died very peacefully the
following morning. She had been in poor health for the past four years but
has been very patient through her years of suffering, and has longed for her
master to take her home. She was a member of the First United Presbyterian
Church of Carnegie, where she resided until about one and one half years ago
when she came here with her daughter, Mrs. COULTER. The funeral services
were held Saturday evening at 7:30 in her late home on the Guy Hill
conducted by her pastor, Rev. MCQUILKEN, of Carnegie. Prayer was offered by
Rev. W. D. LEWIS and music was rendered by Messrs. WILT, LASHER, Mrs.
MATHEWSON and Mrs. ROBB. Mrs. BERGER is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
COULTER and Mrs. William ABBOTT, a son William A. BERGER, and seven
grandchildren.

The interment was Sabbath afternoon at the Rosedale cemetery,
Pittsburgh. Services were held there in the chapel.
