from The Pittsburgh Press dated Saturday, March 14, 1896 (page 7):
 
Early this morning, Anton DANGERT (sic) was struck by the Walls 
express at Turtle Creek. His left thigh was fractured, scalp 
lacerated, and he was injured internally. His home is said to 
be in Cleveland. (under the article heading, Victims of the Railroad)

Anton BANGERT, aged 39 years, widower, teamster, died March 14, 1896 
from injuries on Pennsylvania Railroad.  His address is Cleveland, Ohio, 
and he was interred in Highwood Cemetery on March 25, 1896.

Appears to be Anton BANGERT, born about 1856 in Ohio, son of Frederick 
and Phillippina BANGERT of Cuyahoga County, Ohio.
