from The Pittsburgh Press dated Tuesday, October 14, 1890 (page 3):
 
Kee HAMMOND, a Pennsylvania railroad brakeman, was crushed so badly
between couplings at Twenty-Eighth street that he died a few minutes
afterward. He was 48 years old, resided at Turtle Creek and had a
wife and large family. (under an article titled, Echoes of the Night)
 
 
from the City of Pittsburgh Death Records:
 
Hesekiah AMRUNT, age 44 years, married, railroad brakeman, died
October 13, 1890 in West Penn hospital, crushed on PRR at 28th street;
was born in Westmoreland Co PA; lived in Turtle Creek; buried in a
Turtle Creek cemetery.
 
 
Further research suggests the name Hezekiah AMENT. Wife was the
former Sannhetta E SNYDER who remarried to Thomas MILROY three years
after AMENT's death (according to her obituary dated January 19,
1911).
