from The Pittsburgh Gazette dated Friday, June 15, 1900:

Miss Helena ABERCROMIE, 70 years old, is dead at the old ABERCROMBIE homestead.
Although she had been an invalid for ten years, her death came unexpectedly.
She was a native of Pittsburgh, and for 29 years had lived at the homestead,
Wylie avenue and Davis street. She was widely known in Pittsburgh, where the
family for years past has occupied foremost social and business positions. She
was an aunt of Miss Anna MORELAND, assistant principal of the Mt Washington
school, and of James MORELAND, who lived with their relatives for a number of
years. She was well known for her charitable work and was prominently
identified with Trinity church until she became an invalid.
