CALVIN BELL DEAD
 
  Calvin Bell, one of Petersburg's best known and highly respected 
citizens, died Wednesday, April 21, at 2.30 o'clock from a complication 
of diseases. Mr. Bell was quite well known in Tyrone and was married to 
Miss Catherine Chamberlain, a daughter of Mrs. Marian Chamberlain and a 
sister of J. L. Chamberlain, proprietor of the Garman house.  He was 
one of Petersburg's progressive citizens and a director in the First 
National bank at that place. Mr. Bell was a man, about sixty years of 
age and is survived by his wife,  seven children and two brothers.
  The funeral occurred on Saturday morning at ten o'clock.
