WARRIORS MARK MAN DIES IN PHILIPSBURG HOSPITAL
 
  Walter A. Beck, a lifelong resident of Warriors Mark Valley, died in 
the Philipsburg State Hospital, Tuesday at noon following a years' 
illness with a heart ailment.  
  Mr. Beck was born at Warriors Mark, Nov. 11, 1877, the son of 
Jeremiah and Catherine Beck.  On Mar. 22, 1905, at Warriors Mark, he 
was married to Daisy Glover.  
  He is survived by his wife, one son, Elwood Beck, of Warriors Mark; a 
brother, Robert R. Beck, Spruce Creek R.D.; and two grandchildren.    
  He was a member of the Warriors Mark Methodist Church, Lodge No. 152, 
I.O.F. [sic]; and the Warriors Mark Grange.
  He followed the occupation of farmer throughout his entire life.  
  Friends will be received at the Cox funeral home after 7 o'clock this 
evening.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Thursday 
afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Paul J. Myers.  Burial will 
be made in the Spring Mount cemetery
