MRS. ELIZABETH F. BEAVER.

Mrs. Elizabeth Flenner Beaver, widow of the late F. O. Beaver, the
well known marble dealer, died very suddenly at her home 600 Church
street on Sunday morning at 5:30. Deceased was the daughter of Daniel
and Catharine Flenner and was born near McConnellstown more than 78
years ago. She came to Huntingdon when quite a young girl, where most
of her life was spent. She was united in marriage to F. O. Beaver in
Huntingdon on Dec. 6, 1864, by the Rev. Job Price, a minister in this
place at that time. Mrs. Beaver was well known and was a highly
respected woman; she was a great reader and always well-informed on the
leading topics of the day. She was a consistent member of the
Methodist church in which faith she died. She is survived by one son,
George D. Beaver and one daughter, Mrs. Ida C., the wife of A. D.
Baker, both of whom live near by and always looked after the welfare of
their beloved mother. Funeral services were conducted at her late home
on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30, conducted by the Rev. D. E. Masters of
the Reformed church and Rev. F. R. Wagner of the Lutheran church.
