Little Adin Boyd Dies of Injuries
Six-year-old Adin Boyd, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Boyd of Berrien
County, died at the local hospital Wednesday morning at 3 o’clock from internal
hemorrhages resulting from a fall.
Young Adin fell at his parents’ home Tuesday while carrying an armload
of wood. The fall caused internal injuries. There were no skin abrasions. The
child was immediately rushed to the local hospital where every means was tried
to save his life. He suffered great loss of blood that made a blood transfusion
necessary.
During the Tuesday afternoon and night near two hundred local people
were typed in an effort to match the boy’s blood. None of the blood matched and
the lad died during the early morning hours.
The family have the deepest sympathy of the entire section in the tragic
loss of their young son.
Funeral arrangements had not been announced at the time of going to
press.
