R.E. Booth Passed Away Sunday Noon
	Robert Edward Booth, well known farmer of Berrien County, passed away 
Sunday at 12:25 o’clock at the Askew Memorial Hospital.  He was 75 years of age.
	The deceased was born in Bristol, Fla. And moved to this county forty-
four years ago.  He leaves a wide family connection and many friends, which he 
made during his long and useful life.
	Funeral services were held at Poplar Springs Church Sunday afternoon at 
3 o’clock with Rev. Roy Hendley conducting the services.  Interment was in the 
church cemetery.
	A selected choir sang “Farther Along” and “Take It To The Lord In 
Prayer.”
	Those serving as pall-bearers were R.R. Horton, Willis Sapp, Jack Goble, 
Lamar Campbell, James Kirkland, and Thomas Jefferson.
	Donaldson-Bowen Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.
	Besides his wife, who survives are:  one son, Jessie E. Booth of 
Nashville; two daughters, Mrs. J.W. Kirkland of Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Jack Goble 
of Jacksonville, Fla.; one brother and two sisters, W.C. Booth and Mrs. I.H. 
Duncan of Mariana, Fla., and Mrs. Bessie Ingram of Chattahoochee, Fla.
