Lineville Headlight
As we go to press the sad news comes to Headlight office of the death of Mr. J. 
H. Barfield while hauling timbers. It seems that Mr. Barfield, whose home is near 
Lineville and who is well known there, was hauling timber to a mill when a log 
rolled off on him killing him almost instantly. Mr. Barfield is 67 years old and 
one of the oldest and best-known citizens of Clay County. He is survived by a 
wife and several children.
