  Shirley Ann Shick died April 8, 1937
  
  Shirley Ann Shick, infant daughter of Clarence E. and Florence (Buffington)
  Shick, died in childrenÕs hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa., Thursday, April 8,
  1937, aged 1 year, 10 months and 15 days.  She had been an invalid since
  birth, and although the best medical and surgical skill was sought, her
  affliction was beyond human aid.
  	
  Deceased was born at the Shick home in Hawthorn, May 24, 1935, and is
  survived by her parents and two sisters, Betty and Phyllis, at home.  In
  addition she is survived by her grandparents on both her fatherÕs and
  motherÕs side, and by one great grandparent, vis., Mr. and Mrs. James Shick
  of Mayport, Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Buffington, Red Bank township, and her great
  grandfather, Mr. Joseph C. Richards of this place.
  	
  Funeral services, conducted by Re. M. V. Kelly, were held Sunday, April 11,
  from the Evangelical church of Hawthorn, followed by interment in the
  Grandview cemetery at Summerville, Pa, under the direction of Mortician H.
  H. Sloan of Hawthorn.
  	Jesus has taken a beautiful bud 
  	Out of the garden of love.
  	Borne it away in the City of God.
  	Home of the angel above.
  The following songs were sung very sweetly by Mrs. Milo Houpt and Mrs. Bruce
  Bish, accompanied by Mrs. G. H. Ferguson at the piano "Jewels" "Beautiful
  Isle of Somewhere" and "Gathering Buds".
